Coss
Hi all, Downgrading for dial-up problems Users experiencing dial-up problems in Mac OS X 10.2.4 should try this handy package from a French developer that replaces the USBModem.kext file with an older release - a verified workaround for improving modem reliability. The package is available at http://pro.wanadoo.fr/alis.software/files/usbx.hqx from the Mac Fixit site [removed "." from end of URL. ag]
gobbledonk
Thanks, Coss ! I currently have cable, but when I move up the coast next week, I will definitely have to crank the modem in my iBook into action ! Man, going back to 56K is gonna hurt so very badly .....
