Guest Posted May 10, 2003 Report Share Posted May 10, 2003 North Pattaya, north of Soi 5, offers good swimming. During low tide, the water is not more than chest deep high for a few hundred meters. You can also walk north along the beach to Wong Amat beach, which is much more laid back. Watch out for the idiots on Jet Skis in all areas; more of a problem on weekends. The water quality is Ok nowadays, but I would avoid swimming after a heavy rain; dirty runoff and sewer overflow are problems. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
