Torneyboy Posted July 13, 2003 Report Share Posted July 13, 2003 Not all Thais i must say. But to me many Thai girls and guys wear drab or not colorfull clothes. If you are in a crowd and want to find someone you just fell behind with while walking and looking from behind i doubt you could tell whom was whom IMO. Lots of greys and blacks the girls in office attire (excluded) the others just melt into the background. The children however are or many are dressed in brighter colors. At our temple today there was maybe three or four women in traditional thai clothes and the rest ..really apart from size and lenghth of hair you would not find them if looking in a crowd. The shops have many colors to choose from so my question is why dress in drab/not bright colors?? The Euorpeans and Japanese you can see for miles but the Thais not so.
