Vincent Posted July 29, 2003 Report Share Posted July 29, 2003 My friend in LOS has just bought a new mobile,problem is,she can recieve any texts I send her but when she sends me any I get an " INCOMPATIBLE MESSAGE FORMAT " with a ( UCS2 ) on the next page,,,I'v noticed that every text she sends I also recieve two of the same message,,,please forgive my ignorance concerning mobiles,,,like the net,I'm new to it all,,,,,,,,,,, Cheers if you can help,,Regards,,Vince Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Vincent Posted July 29, 2003 Author Report Share Posted July 29, 2003 Hello Straycat,,,Im in the UK,and my mobile is a Motorola,I'm on the Orange network.My friend who has been texting me until recently was using hers and her sisters shared mobile,this worked OK,but last week she's bought her own phone,,,and ever since on this new mobile I get the "incompatible format "message when recieving texts from her,yet she can see and read my texts to her ,,its frustrating. Pom Michael Posted July 29, 2003 Report Share Posted July 29, 2003 Ask your friend to turn off all the Thai language support, Thai fonts, etc... on her phone and then try to send the SMS message.
