Easier still, though if you have an email account like Yahoo!, Hotmail, AOL etc that have wap sites you can use any wap phone and stick with same email account as you use on your PC. Guest Posted August 15, 2003 Report Share Posted August 15, 2003 If you are staying in Thailand, then you do not need any special telephone. Any second hand model from MBK will do. Just a Dprompt SIM card available at a cost of 4 or 500 baht. It costs 3 baht to send each 160 character email. Incidentally it costs the same for their international SMS. If this is suitable, when you get the SIM card, get in touch and I'll show you how to register.
