jasmine
Hi, Thanks for the link, I am working on it, quite awkward and embarassed. Do you know that I have never typed Thai in my whole entire lif, about time I learned. Jasmine ::

Guest
Maliwan... Probably not unusual there, but I heard for the first time today. Funny thing about it, is that is a common name here in Hawaii, also. Many Chinese here, so maybe Chinese, in origin? HT
jasmine
[color:"red"] Maliwan... [/color] Mali is jasmine, wan/wana is skin so maliwan is skin like jasmine flower. As far as I know, it is derived from Sanskrit (again) and I also heard that in Malay. However, I am not Maliwan because I don't smell that good.
