Arrived at Bangkok International at about 1130pm. Hit immigration and my heart sank. Some flight must have been late or early cuz all the lines were long. Normally arriving that late, no lines. Anyway, walked way to the end and got in line ready to wait a 1/2 hour. It went fairly quickly, maybe about 15 or 20 minutes and I was through. Now, my next least favorite thing, changing a bit of money. No bags to claim so right through customs and out into the tout area. Only 1 couple in front of me at the money exchange. They exchange and in the middle of the exchange, someone who they obviously knew handed them another wad of money so I had to wait again. :onfire: Oh well, I am here just a few more minutes and I can do my third least favorite thing, finding a taxi. I change my hundred bucks and go up to the 4th floor to get a taxi. Head outside and hit the hot Bangkok night. Glasses steam over as I am trying to look for someone getting out of their taxi. I spot one. Get up to him and say "Sukhumvit please". He says, "meter broken". I asked him, "how much". "Mmmm, 250 baht". I say, "Alright, expensive but okay". I would have paid 2500 baht as horny as I was. I really wanted to get to NEP to see the gf but wanted to check in first so I didn't have to look like an idiot hauling my carryon through there. Had him drive to the hotel first and checked in. I stay on Soi 3, so after I paid the man, registered at the hotel and paid, put the bag away, I almost beat the bellman down the stairs getting out of there. It took me about 3 minutes for a normal 10 minute walk to get to NEP. Eyes were focused only on her bar as I walked to get there. Didn't even notice if there was anything else worth seeing. Walked in her bar and saw her sitting alone against the wall waiting. Gave her a big smile and could hardly contain myself. Only about 1245 now so we still have some time to have fun before we go have some other kind of fun. I order a bottle of SangSom and say my hellos to all of her friends and papa-san. We all drain the bottle, have fun catching up and decide to go out afterwards. 2am rolls around, I wait with N while papa collects the time cards. About 15 minutes of this and we are in a couple of tuk tuks with about a half dozen of us going to sing a song and drink some whiskey. Arrive at the establishment and we are escorted to a fine table and are served food and drink and microphones for a couple hours. We all finally decide to leave and I will be able to have time with my little TG. Get back to the room and we for as long as my already tired ass can. But I do always arrive with at least 6000 baht from last trip (some small bills and coins for tolls) to last me the first day.
