Guest Posted November 4, 2003 Report Share Posted November 4, 2003 I like Bumrungrad, but there prices are getting too high. It would be nice to find other alternatives. A farang friend of mine was using there service. The doctor forgot to inform him how much the cost would be. When he received the bill, it was more then he could afford. He promised to pay part of it, and so much per day. The reason for so much per day was because he could only withdraw 10,000 baht from his ATM card each day. Suddenly he was surrounded. They demanded payment and his passport. To make things worse for the rest of us, he was able to leave with his passport, but promised not to return nor pay.
