The Bangkok International Giftware show (BIG) was held recently, at the same time as APEC which was generally viewed as very bad timing. It's a great show, though, and very focused on the types of products for which Thailand seems to still be able to fend off China. In contrast, the 'Made in Thailand' show doesn't seem very focused. With promises of 1000 booths it looks large, but may be difficult to wade through all the various vendors in all the categories to find the ones that are reasonably competitive. Cheers!
