Are You A Psychopath?

Read this question, come up with an answer and then scroll down to the bottom for the result. This is not a trick question. It is as it reads. No one has gotten it right-including me.

A woman, while at the funeral of her own mother, met this guy whom she did not know. She thought this guy was amazing, so much her dream guy she believed him to be just that! She fell in love with him right there, but never asked for his number and could not find him. A few days later she killed her sister.

Question: What is her motive in killing her sister? (Give this some thought before you answer)

Answer:

She was hoping that the guy would appear at the funeral again.

If you answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath. This was a test by a famous American Psychologist used to test if one has the same mentality as a killer. Many arrested serial killers took part in the test and answered the question correctly.

If you didn't answer the question correctly good for you. If you got the answer correct, please let me know so I can take you off of my e-mail list unless that will tick you off, then I'll just be extra nice to you from now on

I thought the answer should be, "It is impossible to deduce her motive from the information given". :)

Hmm. I suppose that marks me out as a suspicious and distrusting ("It's a trick question!" :o), negative ("No answer possible!" ::), unimaginative ("I can't imagine anything outside the scenario given!" :p), lazy ("And I can't be bothered trying to create new potential scenarios!" :() individual. ;)

But I knew that anyway. :) Relieved to know that I probably do not possess the mind of a psychopathic serial murderer, though. Probably. ::

Good little test, chief.

jack

PS. Steve, how many of the current Arsenal squad would've got it "right" then. :neener: Ray Parlour? Possibly. Definitely Keown (he's a thug ) and Bergkamp :hubba: (he has the eyes of a serial killer (so does Pires, come to think of it), thin line between genius and insanity and all that ). And betcha Terry Adams :clown: would've been on the button, especially with ten pints under his belt. :drunk:

Well my answer was:

"Obviously the voices in her head told her that her sister was likely to steal this guy just as her mom, who she previously killed, had stolen her last boyfriend. Of course there would always be more women trying to steal her perfect man and each one would need to be eliminated. The voices are never wrong."

Whew, I'm glad my answer doesn't indicate I'm a psycopath. And the voices in my head agree.
