Fiery Jack
Time to put ... Bong on the turntable! Bad move, Batman! Don't do it. Like marriage and English teaching in Asia, it's not big and it's not clever. And it makes it too tricky to get your lips round the hosepipe bit. (I speak from experience. Though if any cops are monitoring this, erm, I don't. ) jack
carew66
Sayjann and LaoHuli - Rikki Lee Jones rocks. I'd almost forgoten about all about her until recently though. I saw an interview in the G****** (Edited so to not upset Sileakhunt) with her. Sayjann - you'll have heard 'Little Fluffy Clouds' by the Orb won't you? That's her being interviewed on the 'vocal'. Respec' to La Jones. ----------------------- [Rummages in box of vinyl again] Ooooooohh NO! - 'Silver Lady' - David Soul (must be my sisters ). 'Jilted John' - Jilted John. 'The Floral Dance' - Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band. 'Ma Baker' - Boney M (Single mother; did her best for her lads) My Sharona - The Knack Aaargh........! The Naff Fairy has been in the night! ---------------------------------------- Right, I need a laugh and a chuckle now - so it's Radiohead time on the CD player. (FJ - did you see the MC5 documentary the other night?)
Sukhumvit
YMCA - The Village People. That was back in my hanging out with construction worker days. Worst song I have heard lately has to be James Taylor's "Fire and Ice" sung by a geriatric, apoplectic American geezer who sounded like Big Bird from Sesame Street. All this last night in my local videoke here in the sunny republic of the philippines... I felt like opening a vein.
