That is good information. I met several ex-BG from Isaan who told me about the worship. At first I thought it was the influence of Hinduism which worships "Sivalung", a symbol of fertility. Then, several of these women told me (after they got to know me) that becuase of penis (several), they are where they are today, having better lives, money and houses for parents and so on, in many ways, I tend to agree with them ::

 

I find many Thais believe in strange things, all for "good luck", however, many monks have taken advantage of this belief to gain which should NEVER be the monks' characteristics. I have lots of problems with such monks.

 

I stand firm in believing that "luck" is from our actions and have not been dissapointed yet, however, I try to understand people who are desparate and must grasp whatever they can.
