Torneyboy Posted December 22, 2003 Report Share Posted December 22, 2003 Christmas shopping drives me crazy...i hate it. I know.....we have 12 months to buy gifts. But i leave it till last few days All done ..except my wife...difficult to get away on my own I know what i wanted to buy...one was a new mobile...she wants a Samsung E700. Only been out here for about two weeks..so i was told. Called the closest shop and off i go. Shop is busy...3 staff ..wait 20 mins..leave. Go buy the second item i needed to buy. After that go again..another 20 mins or so..no luck.no service not even eye contact from the staff. Go home ..no phone. whosyourdaddy Posted December 22, 2003 Report Share Posted December 22, 2003 Had 50 people over for Christmas dinner on the weekend and wanted to go buy something nice for my friend's wife whom helped with the cooking. Headed off to Emporium at 3 pm today (monday ) and bloody hell it is packed. the parking lot was full! I would hate to see it this coming weekend. Redbaron Posted December 23, 2003 Report Share Posted December 23, 2003 tb, must admit I used to feel the same, so I'd head overseas for the holidays. This year's been a bit different. Y'see, I have a 5 year old sister, and the past few years I've missed xmas with her, so I kind of enjoyed shopping for her gift... and a record - it was all done 10 days early!!!
