Guest
Alfmaz, I'm as well considering a new hotel though was shooting for 700bt rate. My other usual place now states a so called hi season rate of 800. I tried bargaining them down to a flat rate of 10k for 2 wks, but no luck. Guess they are still taking in plenty custmrs at this higher rate. Guess I'll shop around a bit and see what I can find or maybe book there for a few nights and do the walk in check with others while there. PLease let me know what you find out and what you decide on! I plan on arriving the 28th if are gonna be there then let me know chok dee! braut1
fatbastard33
There are 2 Eastinys on Soi 8. I always stay at the Eastiny Inn/Hotel which is just up Soi 8 (from Beach Road) on the left. Was there 2 weeks ago and found it quite nice and good value for money (850 - 900 Baht depending on time of year). Cheers Fatbastard33

Zorro
I usually stay at Eastiny Place and it is a good hotel for the money. I have booked this week from the 8th but they quoted me 950 baht which is more than i usually pay but maybe this is high season internet rate. It is cheaper if you walk in but this time of year you could be unlucky. I paid 700b in August walkin for one week the internet rate was 800b. Zorro
Wrong..They both have pools....I have also stayed at both...Eastiny Place is newer and a little better...700baht is low season walk in price...
short-time
Eastiny Place is a better value during low season. Rooms OK if you get one in the rear, otherwise you won't get much sleep. Tile floors, and very poor lighting. Beware, they have a joiner fee if you bring in more than one girl. ST
