Crash999 Posted January 31, 2004 Report Share Posted January 31, 2004 Mr Sanuk is on the money in regards to the difference between DVD5 and DVD9- it's single vs dual-layer. Take a DVD9 and look at the inside of the disc- you'll see it's two sections on top of each other, looking somewhat like two CDs glued together. A DVD5 should look similar to a CD. Shorter movies and those with less features are crammed onto DVD5 discs. Most newer titles are on dual-layer discs. Cheers! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
