Flashermac
Time magazine noted Trink's "retirement". But the new folks at the Post couldn't even be bothered to announce he was leaving. Just one week Trink was there, the next a new column was. Interesting that Time thought he was important enough to mention, but the Post doesn't give a hoot. Guest
Trink was an old geezer who should have left the Post long ago. But...I signed up for his site. His latest essay is rubbish, sounds like someone who just discovered Internet porn and can't wait to tell the world about it. At least he mentioned the BJs at AlleyCats. Yehtmae
From the webmaster of BT's new site on his forum: Thank you to everyone who has given suggestions and comments in the forum or via email. The question has been asked several times "Does Trink actually read any emails or forum discussion?" Although Trink has not yet started frequently visiting the forum I'd like to assure you that every post and email gets printed out, given to and read by Trink. He mostly answers emails or comments to him via his column as he has done for the last 40 years, though we hope soon that he will be answering questions and replying to comments online in the forum. Suggestions for the website, Trink's column, anything at all are greatly appreciated, so please keep them coming So looks like poor old Bernie has yet to catch up with the 20th century still. I wonder if the Post let him keep his typewriter?

kamui
I am neither sure if it was mentioned already nor I don't know how long it exists but The Nation has a Trink like column which is much more fun to read, compared to what Trink wrote during the last 1 1/2 years (that it is how long I read BKK post): FARANG AFFAIRS

chuckwoww
Has anybody checked out the forum on BT website lately? It's sad. No input from BT. Couple of blokes calling each other cunts and another guy advertising Segway rides. That's it. ::
