How about, you ask them if they NEED to leave...If they say yes, then you say, "Let(Allow) me give you something(for your time)" Public school, you know. If no purse, then in their pocket, slightly sticking out for them to see, as they put their pants on. Slightly discreet, but letting them know they got 'paid'.
