buddha Posted February 19, 2004 Report Share Posted February 19, 2004 I'm an IT guy blackie so I know what to look for and I just use the uninstall feature on windows to get rid of them. basically 90% [thats a total guess] of anything you download off of kazaa will install gator, intraweb, and a bunch of other bullshit programs that will constantly be communicating with a server somewhere popping up windows, sometimes regardless of weather you are surfing. If you have a dedicated connection to the internet they are working and slowing you down. Check out waht programs are in your start up folder and kill anything that you know is a problem.
