now what thinks your Nicewaithai (or Wainicethaigirl) about wai-ing as ghetto art in thai culture or the culture of wai-ing inside or outside thai ghetto's or the art of wai-ing as ghetto culture in thailand?

I usually will only wai people when I'm with Thai friends. If I'm on my own then I'll only wai back and only if it isn't a kid or service person.

 

I saw this guy in Patong several years ago who was walking around waiing anything that move. Very funny. He must have been in his fifties and was accompanied by a rather mortified looking BG. Waied the little flower girls, waied the bartenders, and probably waied the soi dogs too. And the way he did it was the funniest part. Way up high with his thumbs at the top of his head while bowing very low. Must have seen some movie of someone waiing a the PM or something.
