Just to fill in the blanks, its quite common for Australian males to attempt to denigrate 'tall poppies' from overseas by questioning their sexuality, particulalrly when the mere mention of these individuals induces orgasmic moans of delight from the local sisterhood. Whether Robbie Williams, Colin Farrell or George Michael (!) actually are homosexual is completely immaterial - unless you are the editor of a womans magazine - the point is that we were able to vent our frustration re the fact that the same women who drool over them are loath to be seen on the same street corner with we 'average Joes'.
