If you have time find out if you can change the schedule for the first leg of your return flight there, talking directly to the airline. Or you try this in thailand. I had airlines changing flight dates (for the return flight) for free, or for a small charge. Sometimes not possible due to booking situation. Never got told they won't do it. Don't think it would be her mate,she left Pattaya before Christmas 03,she just goes back there when her "wealthy" fella comes to town,which appears to be quite often,bully for her. Vincent Posted May 28, 2004 Author Report Share Posted May 28, 2004 Qatar airlines did the business for me,,the flight to Doha from Bkk was virtually empty,perhaps 30 people at the most.On arrival at Doha,after going through the luggage screening,I was taken aside and lead through Qatar immigration. They give me a complimentary room at "Oasis Hotel",free transfers to the hotel and airport,plus two free meal vouchers.Much better than a 14 hour wait at the airport.But it just gave me a more relaxed envoiroment to get depressed about leaving my friend back in Bkk,we've all been there I suppose,it still hurts though.
