Vincent Posted May 3, 2004 Author Report Share Posted May 3, 2004 Managed to flog my dvd's today for £150 for 50,its great timing for me as Im off to LOS on thursday evening for 3 weeks with Qatar Airlines from Manny for the cracking price of £362 including UK taxes etc with Expedia UK. Only pisser for me is my favourite lady is holed up with her main sugar daddy until mid May,bollox,still,Id rather be there than here, tally ho. But,just realised Iv made a HUMONGOUS blunder,,,,,I booked over the web on Expedia,,the day I fly out of Bkk is May25th,,Qatar have two flights to Doha that day,1 around 8 in the morning and the other around 8 at night,,,,Guess what ?I booked the earlier one back by mistake ( my own fault ! ) .So I land at Doha about 11 am May 25th and the next leg home is at 1am May 26th,,a bloody 14 hour stopover,jesus. Tried ringing Expedia yesterday and acting stupid ( which I'am ),they said I cannot change my flight by any means,flight times or the actual flight date,so 14 hours it must be,never mind, we live and learn to die and forget it all. I guess nobody reads the sign when going thru Bangkok airport that says you must declare anything of personal value that is over 10,000 baht. Can you imagine getting pulled over and checked and found to have porno in your possession? Sure there is a high probability you could leave the country without being detected, but is it worth the risk? That is why I say STUPID.
