Night out, a review

".... Over the past couple of days had the

pleasure to try out a few old favorites. First the awards.

 

Best Eye Candy - Definetly Rainbow II. Lots of really hot girls.

Unfortunately no showing. Seemed to be less Japs around than usual too for

some reason. They had 38 girls bf'd by about 11PM so somebody must agree

with me.

 

Best Party Atmosphere - Has to be Midnite. Girls aren't much to look at but

there are a few cuties. On stage they're constantly pulling at and off each

other's clothes. Not that they wear all that much anyway. Saw the most

nudity here. And the attitudes can't be beat.

 

Best Combo Attitude and Eye Candy - This was Shark in Soi Cowboy.

Consistently they have a pretty good looking lineup - especially for SC.

The girls are fun to talk to and to drink with. Lots of bustle in this bar

too.

 

And some other bars visited (ho hum).

 

Long Gun - A, B and C teams should have been combined into D team.

Actually, there are about 3 hot girls in the A team line up. Mostly boring

and the shows even more so but then maybe I'm jaded. For some reason I

always end up here when in SC and have never really figured out why.

Reputation I guess...

 

Rainbow I - Definetly a shell of its former self. Not much to see and no

atmosphere at all.

 

G-Spot - A few hotties but the usual boring atmosphere and expensive drink

prices.

 

Pretty Lady - Not a bad place actually with drink prices cheap and some cute

girls with a good attitude. I give them an honorable mention in the Best

Combo category.

 

Mandarin - Inflated drink prices, no excitement and boring girls makes this

place a good one to pass.

 

Note that while I am not specifically biased against the Crown group bars,

there are plenty of alternatives to 125 baht beers. Why put up with their

bullshit? What they lack in quality they make up in consistency - boring.

 

Sheba - Took one look inside at about midnight and the place had maybe 3

punters. Didn't go in for obvious reasons - not the least of which was the

5 beasts on stage.

 

Angel Witch - Typical busy place and I was left with a lame seat so gulped

my drink and didn't stay. With a show going on, didn't see many quality

ladies hanging around either but could have missed them in the dim lighting.

 

Cowboy Two - This place seriously needs to follow the flow and have a happy

hour. Maybe 3 girls rate a 7/10 with several of the largest bar girls I've

seen - outside of the two dancing in LG.

 

To sum it up - you ain't missing much unless you count RII and Midnite. I'm

sure I must have missed something but I was a bit disappointed overall. Did

manage to get pretty trashed though...."
