Guest Posted July 16, 2001 Report Share Posted July 16, 2001 Steffi, as a green card holder you can still petition for your spouse, it's on a preference system and that will take years. However you can petition for her now, apply for and become a US Citizen, then you can upgarde the petition to become an immidate relative petition which will speed the process up to as quick as the state department can move.
