[/color] This is not unusual. We just finished our small house in my mother's land so Hubby and I can have a place of our own in Thailand and we were asked about the house blessing party which the ones asked were drinkers and loved parties. We never had the party and we were told by certain people that we were stingy. Oh well, my mother said that it is a tradition to bless a new house and throw a little drinking/food party and being my normal self, I am NOT very Thai tradition conditioned!!!
