Was talking to a guy outside the KL Embassy who was having all sorts of strife getting a B visa, they were very strict about the paperwork requirements and after two tries he was still waiting, the company he said he worked for was Seimans, now if anyone should know the procedure, they should. I know of a a couple of consulates where getting a "o" or "B" visa is a 30 min job with virtually no support paperwork required. They aren't located in an ASEAN country. Guest Posted September 21, 2001 Report Share Posted September 21, 2001 I just received a one-year multiple-entry non-immigrant "B" visa from the consulate in New York City. I had my passport back in my hands within 48 hours of sending it to them. All I did was send them a two page letter detailing my business and bank assets. I needed no letter or other documentation from a Thai company. It appears that they are more interested in proof that you can adequately support yourself than getting an endorsement from a company over there.
