Fatbastard Posted June 8, 2004 Report Share Posted June 8, 2004 Was at a bit of a loose end in NR last weekend and as my daughter is crazy about animals headed off to the Zoo. I must admit I was expecting a shabby Dusit style exhibit BUT it was terrific. Great variety of animals all properly laid out in a large park setting. Not quite as well stocked as the Singapore zoo but much less crowded and only 40 Baht each. As Mother is 8 months preg with a new girl we decided to take a horse drawn carriage to tour around. A great afternoon and the folks that put it together really deserve a big cheer. Pity its a 3 hour drive from BKK as I'm sure closer in it would be a top family day out.
