Hunnia
How do you call your (temporary) bg sweetheart? By her nickname or her real first name? After the first day when we were vacationing on Phuket I started to call her by her real name. She has a beautiful, easy to pronounce first name and love the sound of it. However, she always referred to herself using her nickname. Is it an insult to consistently call her by her real name? Nobody calls her like this, which also appealed to me. Guest
Nickname. The real name is only used in formal circumstances, like being called up at the dentist's or at the local passport office. Using the real name is no insult, but could be construed as a bit of a piss-take, even if a good-natured one.
Guest
I call my non BG gf by her real name, and she's fine with that. Other friends I tend to use nickname.
Guest
I always call my girlfriend Khun Sukumarn and it seems to win me a certain amount of respect and trust. For example, she's letting me go out tonight provided that I'm back by 10pm. People have accused me of being under the thumb but I've asked my girlfriend and she said I'm not.
