Guest
I am looking to do a visa run on Jan 2 and would like to go by air. Expedia.com shows flights to Vientiane, Phnom Penh, and Malaysia all $200+. Any tips on finding a better price from BKK?

Many travel agents in Bangkok sell RT air tickets BKK - PNH - BKK on Bangkok Air for 6500 to 7000 baht ($145 - $155 USD). Try AW Business Inn Travel on Sukhumvit Soi 11/1. I've used them before and gotten competitive prices, they're very easy to work with. Shotover
jai-dee
You will almost always find better deals from locally based agents. Try some of these: bangkoktickets.com dtctravel.com charlie connecxion [ December 14, 2001: Message edited by: Sir Oliver ]
New Petchburi Pete
If you go to Vientiane (as I did recently), buy the return ticket to BKK in Laos for $80 on Lao Aviation (plus, departure tax, like BKK). Definitely go to a couple of local travel agents to get ticket to Vientiane or Udon Thani (then bus to Friendship Bridge - taxi to town). I use SunSiam off Soi 3 near Sukhumvit.
