Moo_Uan
I have a One 2 Call prepay number. Last time I used the phone in LOS it was not possible to hide the number for the recipient. Does it work now? Other suggestions? I have to call a few people here in farangland next time i go to LOS and I don't wan't them to know that I'm using a Thai phone number. Khun_Kong
My experience was that, yes, you can shut off "sending number" (forget where it is on my Nokia's menu), but that you can't make calls then. Sorta the ultimate cloaking device.
Pom Michael
Khun Kong, Uh, your post is confusing but correct. At least for AIS, both postpaid and prepaid, you can turn off the setting to allow your number to be sent, but then you can't make an outgoing phone call. Kind of defeats the purpose now doesn't it??? Cheers!
Khun_Kong
Sorry about that. Must be the middle of the night can't sleep delerium. To the OP: on a more positive note, you can use a UWT callback service to accomplish your goal. You have a number in farangland that you call from your mobile. That number calls the number you want and then connects you. The receiver's caller ID shows the farangland UWT number that you called.

gummigut
Three years ago I tried this with my DTAC sim, and while my phone option "send number" was off, the other person still saw my number Haven't tested it since. <<burp>>
