..
A friend of mine's wife owns a small resort in Kalasin town. It's brand new (OK, 6 mos old), has a restaraunt, bar w/regulation size snooker table, karaoke and 6-8 rooms w/AC, hot water and satellite TV. Call 043-812-656 and ask for Khun Gee. Her English is very good, but I do not know about the rest of the staff. Cheers, SD

..
No email that I am aware of. It is a small Thai oriented operation, but very nice place. I was there for the grand opening party Cheers, SD
DocThai
Roi Et City Hotel has karaoke and is quite nice, but you are not allowed to ask me why I have stayed there. No sarcastic remarks from you either Suadum ;-) BTW, I have not used your motorcycle for three weeks as I dislocated my toe!

Pianoman
I am not sure about Roi Et, but in Kalasin there is the Rimpao Hotel... Very nice place with both a Karoke Bar and a Disco... Disco was way too load for this old farang, but the Karoke Bar was very pleasent with both open area and private rooms... The hotel is about a 3* or maybe 4* wanabe... Deluxe rooms were/are 900 baht per night... Pianoman
