Blocked the exits and wouldn't let anyone leave. A large group (+25) of big farangs lost their minds, shouted the timeless 'fuck you, fuck you' to the police as they forced their way out. Quoted from Pattaya City News website: "German man injured as Walking Street Discotheque is raided by Police. Police Major Sutum and a team of officers from Pattaya Police Station conducted a raid of a popular Walking Street discotheque on Saturday Night. The raid took place at around 1.30 am, when the disco was packed full of tourists. As police arrived they attempted to close the front doors to enable them to contain everyone inside so they could be later checked. The problem came when the undermanned police contingent could not control the crowds who decided they did not want to stay when the disco owners inexplicably decided to cut the air-conditioning system. In the rush, one German man was slightly injured and taken to hospital. After the initial problems Police managed to begin their investigation and urine tested everyone inside. Every test came back negative. Then, Police checked everyone?s ID cards and passports and found no one under the age of 20. The bars licenses were checked and were in order. Police did identify one problem concerning fire safety. They questioned the number of fire exits at the premises and told the owners to review the problem and get back to them with a solution. Bad news indeed It seems that all of the raids I have read about have occured in discos and nightclubs. Anyone aware of a raid being conducted in a beer bar or go-go?
