Automated link-exchangers? No, thanks.

Hi,

And this is a prime example of why you should not use link-exchange programs...

Got the following email:

Hi,

Its Daniel from http://www.rare-lyrics.com, lately I've been adding

more information to our artist pages and I'm currently getting some

quality nana links for our visitors. Anyway, I've added your site to our

nana page. I would be very grateful if you would link back to us at

http://lyrics.rare-lyrics.com/N/Nana.html (Nana Lyrics). If you would

like us to make any changes to your text link even if you decide not to

link back or would like more linking information, please just reply and

let us know.

Regards,

Now, from this it already bloody obvious that the guy has not even bothered looking at the site. Upon following the link, you see that there is actually a link (called "Nanaplaza.Com - Bangkok nightlife") on the page.

This is what happens when you use an automated link-exchange program to spam sites with a similar interest for link-exchanges, ... and don't bother to actually check the links yourself.

So, if we get a bunch of new members looking for a Greek singer, you know who to blame :)

555555555555 I see your googleocity made a great 'link' below your post.

what the heck, you get lots of rare lyrics posted here.

some sing the blues

some just wail

some sing songs of freedom and rejoice

Maybe Fiery Jack could write a theme song.
