Lusty
I loaded some adware blaster software yesterday and when I went to get on the net today I couldn't get on?Had to resort to "system restore" to rectify things:: By the way the adware found three premium rate dial up trojans hiding in my registery .Picked up from porn sites, apprantly:o.I'll have to change my password . How come my firewall or spyware didn't pick them up?Thanx
soongmak
I searched the net for "Adware Blaster" and I couldn't find any reviews of it. I cannot judge whether it is a legitimate program or some malware. If I were you, I would stick to Lavasoft's Adaware or Spybot S&D, both well known, reputable and absolutely free spyware removal programs. Cheers, soongmak
khunsanuk
Hi, Soongmaak, I think Lusty may be refering to Spyware Blaster, which is a pretty good program. Sanuk!
Lusty
I have Web Root Spy Blaster and SpyBot search and destroy but I loaded some adware removal stuff and I could not connect to the net even though I have B/band.The adware found three premium rate dialer trojans in the registery(not a problem with b/band)which it quarantined.I just wondered if through doing this the trojans where protecting themselves by me having to use sytem restore::
