Passport for Thai nationals to Malaysia??

One way around it is fairly common. Get some company here to say you work for them and need to travel in and out of the contry. Have them request a 90-day renewable visa. It is actually good for up to 15 months! Every 90 days you just step across the border, get stamped out and come in with another 90-day visa. I know a fella who did that for about 14 years until he was old enough for a retirement visa (age 50).

At least you are from somewhere that folk in Thailand have a chance of having heard of.

I spend my life in Thailand saying that I am from Englend :D Still grates, after all this time.

  • 2 weeks later...

My girl and I have just come back from four great days in KL while I was getting my Non Imm B visa.

I got three months on arrival with my Irish passport.

She got one month with her Thai passport,..... and now wants to get married and get an Irish passport...!!!! That'll teach me to take her on hols with me.
