Today I went to Bumrungrad to see an Internist I know there; and, I asked him about the flu season in Thailand. According to this doctor, there definitely is a flu season, the height usuually being in Dec. or Jan. The time to be vaccinated is now through Nov. I believe he charged me 250 Bt for the flu vaccination ... they use the widely acclaimed Vagigrip(French) painless, and it might just salvage a potentially lost week or two of sanuk ... god forbid employment!
