drogon
Greetings In one year I will achieve a course of hotel manager. (I did it because I want to travel more) Reading the bangkok post, nation and specialised jobs sites I see there are quite some places opened in this sector. I would like to know if some board members could tell me more about the salaries and more generally about the specificities of the hotel industry in Thailand. (I understand that most of the jobs cater to thai nationals with low salaries) Thanks for your comments
Guest
Drogon, not sure it will be of much help, but doubt that's the good sector if u want to keep on going around the world leaving large girls/bar bills. I don't know how much premium you can expect on a local contract over a thai worker but hope for you it's quite high. Used to go out with 2 young thai guys who were assistant sales managers, one in Dusit Thani and the other went through a few places. salary around 25000 baht for the best paid. Service industry is not famous for paying well in Thailand

Time will tell yes, I understood that from ur FRs... hence U should think hard wether going to a still demanding job with a much lower income is such a promising move. But then, as soon as U get a senior position in one of the major BKK hotels, please get me special rates for top suites and I'll manage to fill it with girls. U'll then be welcome to visit and we'll start disserting seriously on what a man really needs to fulfill his life (Why work so hard when all we need is really only a mouth to sit on and another to come in, said the prophet after half a dozen carribean iced teas in Qbar couple of nights ago - yes, that's another Randomshots exclusivity preview of the very new testament, only on Nanalaza.com ::
