bibblies
The funny thing is that things like Starbucks coffee and mineral water cost more than $70 a barrel and yet people seem willing to pay it! (Mineral water - biggest damn con in Blighty )
Nervous_Dog
I still find it amazing the price difference between petrol and milk, which both involve intense processing, Milk is renewable, petrol they say not. Yet Petrol is cheaper? Go figure????? DOG
Neo
Go figure????? The answer is VOLUME. The golden rule is each time you double volume of a product, you yield an 18% price reduction due to efficiencies. Ever wonder why a stamp to send a piece of mail across the world is so cheap? Volume! If there was only one piece of mail to be delivered instead of thousands at a time, imagine how much it would cost to have it hand carried to the destination. BelgianBoy
What a weird thread here........ As we all relate to LOS, why do we not recalculate all in liters and TB ????? Here in Belgium gasoline is Euro 1.10 / l or 56.4 TB, super 95 is Euro 1.45 / l or 74.4 TB ! So, when Paul mentions $ 3.0 a gallon, that is x 40.9 : 3.78541 = 32.4 TB per liter only........
