elef
Hi, that confirms what a friend told me yesterday. He has a sister living in NO's French Quarter, she was able to contact him yesterday and she told that there was just small damages and no water at all. elef
..
This is more like the NOLA I know and love...viva la Vieux Carre! Laissez le bon temp rouler (they shall again, I hope)! It be beaucoup crasseux raht now, but dey be fixin to clean her up naw. (hey, see, I still remember the parlay Ka-joon the lovely Miss D, my Chinese cajun girlfriend in Uni and her people taught me!) By the by, I got an email from Miss D (we still keep in touch) and all her family is OK and their house was not even flooded, but I knew pretty much that from the sat photos as they were on the dry side of the 17th street canal (ain't the internet kewl!). Storm damage was not too bad either. Happy for them. Cheers, SD
