voodoo31
I suppose it depends on what kind of work you want and what your skills are. Many countries in Asia have large populations and are still developing (China, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Indoensia) so humnma resources are plentiful and wages generally on the low side. Unless you have particular skills probably not much available at a wage suitable for a westerner outside of English teaching. The more developed countires may offer more opportnuties - Japan , Hong Kong, Singapore as more developed economies requires more diversification of jobs and skills and not as bigger human resource pool to chosse from. I work in Japan and even with Japanese language skills there are good jobs on offer especially with foreign firms, but once again your skill set is important. There more highly sklled and experienced you are especially for professional type positions the better.

Guest
Try Singapore and Hong Kong--both WELCOME 'farang' experts, especially in technical fields.

cavanami
Japan has such techs. I also lived/worked in Japan and can read/write Japanese quite well. All the OS on the PCs are in Japanese, so need to read/write to work there in such tech fields.
chilli13
"OS on the PCs are in Japanese" I somehow doubt that'll be the multinationals? Would grind to a standstill real fast
