paul101 Posted January 14, 2006 Report Share Posted January 14, 2006 I only stayed to add it to the eye spy book of suk hotels, nearly got the book full. Room was disappointing, the mrs described it as 'lonely' the non done up rooms certailnly lack warmth and no where near as good as JW or even the majestic grande, but thats new. Staff though I thought outstanding, apart from the confusing checkout the staff are as good as any hotel. Breakfast is very good and I like the cocktail lounge with the jazz trio. It does have a lot more in the way of facilities than say the JW but at the price you can get better value elswhere ie Davis or the Majestic G, if you can stand the other guests. I'd stay again if I could get a better price. Did not notice any guest with little tart in tow being stopped and I saw some walking in who looked decidedly underage, the girls that is.
