Guest Posted March 12, 2006 Report Share Posted March 12, 2006 This is an area of Thai which is very difficult for English speakers, because of the lack of an English equivalent. Most BG's refer to farangs as "it", but this is not NECESSARILY negative (but often is) because they also refer to very young (& loved) children in this manner, plus it's also something of a "norm" rather than specific to the target person.
