Nervous_Dog
How far from a big town etc. However in the sceme of things 7 rai for 300K isnt bad. Better and worse deals have been done. Main thing is look for water, or consider building a dam, or "Bore" on the land, great for raising fish and fishing! DOG
chuck6660
DOG, My fiance' is interested in where and when you were able to buy 70 rai for 140,000 bht. She thinks you were very lucky! What type of land? She has 1 rai in Buriram, paid 65.000 bht and has a rai in Khon Kaen 200,000 bht, 70 rai for 140K sounds like a great deal. Man at Work
chuck6660 said:Thanks all for the info. My fiance' (getting married in early April) brother told her of this parcel, 7 rai for 300,000 bht. He said the owners are in need of money and may go down in price. The parcel is on a "road." We are going to check out the land when we get back to Thailand in two weeks. Our plan is to build a house and have a cow or two and some chickens...sounds like fun. Is anyone familiar with Buriram? Any sound advice? Maekju Chusaeyo That is 2 ? or 2,8 $ per m² Funny how some people leave Europe/USA and leave the old cow behind, just to buy themself a new one in LOS. Sounds like a new episode of "little farm in the valley" is in the making. Enjoy it - sounds like fun. MaW

No wonder it was cheap!
