Nervous_Dog
Discovery Channel had a special on the Top 10 motorbikes, the Honda 90 came top! They dropped it off a building, 30 metres, it still started and moved forward on a bent fron wheel! DOG
buddha
The honda 90 was the precursor to a wave of changes in the motorcycle industry. Just after the 90 honda roled out the first series of assembly line 4 stroke bikes destined for markets outside of japan. It made getting a bike much cheaper and they turned from a rich mans novelty to a cheap form of transport. Honda dominates the market today from a 'quantity' stand point. You can find parts for models ranging back to the 60's and 70's all around the world. I'm talking about parts that are still made in honda factories today. In addition so many were sold that there is a plethora of parts laying around in junk yards and garages around the world. Something like this is very attainable at not that gigantic of a ticket. I would love to get my hands on one. http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/honda_cb_125_1970.php The bonus is that in Thailand you can count on labor being much cheaper than say the US. For what it would cost for a night out you could have someone completely clean up an old bike and get it running. Should you find a cache of spare parts in someone shop you could then get it looking really nice for not much more. http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/kawasaki_a1_samurai_1970.php I love the old japanese bikes. I remember salivating at ads in sports illustrated when I was a kid. that was what made the banana dance years ago
