itsmedave
So after 6 months in country I'm seriously jonesing for my favorite restaurant dish from the U.S. A french dip (that's a roast beef sandwich on a french roll which is dipped into meat juice or au jus.) I have looked in several western restaurants (I would've even been willing to pay Hard Rock prices) but no luck anywhere. Has anybody seen it anywhere??? I'm itchy man! Old Hippie
itsmeDave, If all else fails, and you have access to boiling water, god to foodland, villa etc or whereever, buy a package of Au Jus mix and some rolls and rosat beef from the deli and inmrovise!! I was able to get Au jus mix in a package in Foodland last year. They also have decent cold cuts as does Villa. Hope it helps!
Guest
itsmedave-- I recall that I saw a french dip sandwich on the menu at the Crowne Plaza and at the Grand Hyatt Erwan.. Not sure if it only a seasonal or rotation item, but I'm sure that they can make you one if you ask for it. --UPSer PS: Previous suggestion is great also, make your own.. cheap and you get it the way YOU like it..
