carew66
I was given a DVD of the Crossroads guitar festival (2004?),held somewhere in Texas. When I finally got around to looking at it I was amazed by none other than Joe Walsh. I've never been in the slightest bit interested in ther Eagles et. al. (mainly 'cos if i hear Hotel California one more time I'll kill a fluffy kitten) but this guy rocks. It helps that I think he is possibly mentally ill - in a good way, natch - but as far as ageing rock stars go, well, that's the way to go. ** Gets coat and leaves, humming 'Rocky Mountain Way'..**

I haven't seen her in ages, last times in person was at a show, maybe 20 years ago, she was enormous then! I had read she had serious cancer, and was "under going treatment" haven't heard any more of her. (That was maybe in the last 6 months?)
dean
There's some sick websites out there, like "deathwatch," but Mary Travers is alive as of November 16 and had her 70th birthday on November 9. Last year, she went through chemo for leukemia.

Never could sing worth crap, but always was an interesting personality. So what are Chuck Berry and Little Richard up to these days?
