nkped
A quite good Thai restaurant in Anchorage, the Chaing Mai (that's the way they spell it). Owner and staff all seem to be Thai.
samak
It's always either chicken or beef. In fact, i've never seen lamb on any Thai menu not quite true; in particular in the south quite common but i have seen it also in restaurants in Bangkok. ask for kae (lamb) or phae (goat)

Torneyboy
You have to know where to go in Sydney to get *real* Thai food. All in the Chinatown end of the City. Saap Thai Spice I Am Thainatown Would be the top picks.... Most others cater for the falang taste..along with the prices...

LivestockLover
Massaman curry is more common in the south, but LAMB is never on the menu in thailand (unless it's a non-thai owned place..then i can imagine it). You say you can 'ask for it". That may be possible, but it's not on menus, and never in "massaman curry" (but maybe in a non-thai owned place). Flashermac
In around 30 years or so in Thailand, I've only seen matsaman curry made with beef, chicken or soy protein (veg style).
