MikeN
The proposed law banning alcohol advertising comes into effect soon, even to the point of banning a pin-up calender sponsored by a beer label, according to todays Nation. So what about the beer gardens set up in the Central plaza shopping centre and other places. they are clearly sponsored by heinekin, singha, Chang etc so their advertising banners should be banned too ? to say nothing of the Singha/chang t-shirts worn by the serving staff (of course they could always take them off !) So will the beer gardens still be running this year .... or will they be cola gardens ? I've always enjoyed taking my girl and friends for a meal and a few beers while listening to the band at the World Trade Center/ Central world plaza beer garden. Fiery Jack
The proposed law banning alcohol advertising comes into effect soon. And a good law it is too, cock, if you ask me. Keep it quiet, in case there's a shortage, like. Don't tell everybody. jack

ThaiHome
No Beer Garden this year at our complex. For the last couple of years only had Singha and Heinken, but no sign of anything this year. TH
