Scotch in Thailand,

Depends on where you shop Fatty, there's a duty free shop directly opposite the Tachilek immigration office that has a great selection of Australian and international wines. I'll agree with the pirate DVDs and CDs being shonky but I've also bought cans of

European beer there that have been authenticated.

I bought a bottle of Johnny Walker Black in Mindanao one Christmas for 6USD that I gave away after a single sip.

Hey, I'll be back in Adelaide next March for 5 weeks, we'll have to have a beer.

"Who buy those low quality products I've never found out,"

Err...yeah, well...I'd be absolutely digusted with any one who drank crap like that myself. Bit like drinking Chang. :o

Appropriate signature, Julian...

I normally wouldn't touch that 100 Pipers crap, but I'm collecting the bottles for a modern art installation I'm designing, and figured I shouldn't waste the stuff... Just a few more bottles and I think I'll have enough, then I guess I'll switch back to my usual single malt...
