Flashermac
Cheaper than Grand Marnier?
Julian2
Depends on where you shop Fatty, there's a duty free shop directly opposite the Tachilek immigration office that has a great selection of Australian and international wines. I'll agree with the pirate DVDs and CDs being shonky but I've also bought cans of European beer there that have been authenticated. I bought a bottle of Johnny Walker Black in Mindanao one Christmas for 6USD that I gave away after a single sip. Hey, I'll be back in Adelaide next March for 5 weeks, we'll have to have a beer. YimSiam
"Who buy those low quality products I've never found out," Err...yeah, well...I'd be absolutely digusted with any one who drank crap like that myself. Bit like drinking Chang. Appropriate signature, Julian... I normally wouldn't touch that 100 Pipers crap, but I'm collecting the bottles for a modern art installation I'm designing, and figured I shouldn't waste the stuff... Just a few more bottles and I think I'll have enough, then I guess I'll switch back to my usual single malt...
jondoefour
The bottle of 100 Pipers that I bought at Foodland said it was owned by Chivas Regal. So, I thought they just bottled up what didn't make the grade for Chivas and called it 100 Pipers. Not the best but not nearly the worst either.
