Hugh_Hoy
I've seen a lot of the ND kid...and he's got a lot of tools. But the young man from OSU impressed the heck out of me against MI. Either one looks like a winner, but I think I'll go with the OSU QB. HH
..
Me too. It would be a shame if Troy Smith did not win it...very deserving. Then of course, the Lions will draft him and he will be flipping burgers in three years time LOL! Cheers, SD
Dali
The votes are in and its Smith in a landslide, with Brady Quinn falling to 3rd.
Hugh_Hoy
he will be flipping burgers in three years time LOL! Cheers, SD More like "he WILL be burger in three years". 5555 Of course, David Carr has managed to survive Houston, so there's hope if Smith goes to Detroit. Brings up another question: who will be drafted first: Smith or Quinn? HH
chuck6660
Quinn will go before Smith!! Smith is only 6ft tall, Quinn is like 6'4'' much more of a prototype NFL QB. After the Rex Grossman experiment, many teams are wary of shorter QBs. Sadly, Smith will be categorized as an "athlete" and considered a mobile (back-up) QB, WR or DB. Think about a short Vince Young.

Hugh_Hoy
The "experts" do seem to think that Quinn might very well be the #1 pick. Heisman doesn't mean a whole lot when the draft is involved. And no team is going to use a high draft pick and throw that kind of money on the table for a back-up QB. I could see Smith possibly being converted to a DB, but not a running back. Too many guys ahead of him in that dept. that are already runners. Still, Smith got my vote for the Heisman.
